- 2 lbs Pork shoulder or pork belly
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 1/3 cup White Vinegar
- 8 Garlic Cloves, pressed
- 2 pcs Bay Leaves
- 1 tsp Dried Ground Oregano
- 1 tsp Whole black peppercorns
- 1 tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1 cup Water
- Salt to Taste
Heat oil and brown pork on all sides.
Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
Pour in soy sauce, vinegar, water, bay leaves, oregano and peppercorns.
Allow vinegar to boil for 2 minutes before stirring.
Cover and simmer 45–60 minutes until pork is tender.
Remove the lid during the last 10–15 minutes if you want a thicker sauce.
Serve over cauliflower rice.
