Strawberry Mint Iced Tea – A Refreshing Spring Tea

Strawberry Mint Iced Tea – A Refreshing Spring Tea

When spring arrives, I naturally start craving lighter and more refreshing drinks. One of my favorite ways to enjoy the season is by making Strawberry Mint Iced Tea. It combines the sweetness of fresh strawberries with the bright flavor of mint and the comforting base of tea.

This tea is simple, beautiful to serve, and perfect for a quiet afternoon or when friends come over. I also love that it uses fresh ingredients that are easy to find during spring.

Sometimes I make a pitcher and keep it in the refrigerator so I can enjoy a glass throughout the day. The flavor becomes even better after the strawberries and mint have had time to infuse the tea.

Why I Love Making This Spring Tea

Spring always feels like a season of fresh starts. The weather gets warmer, the days feel brighter, and simple drinks like this tea make the moment feel special.

What I enjoy most about Strawberry Mint Iced Tea is how refreshing it tastes without being overly sweet. The strawberries give a natural fruit flavor, while the mint adds a cool and calming finish.

According to the Tea Association of the USA, tea is one of the most widely consumed beverages in the world and can be enjoyed both hot and iced.

I personally find iced tea especially enjoyable during the warmer months when hot drinks feel a little too heavy.

A Simple Tea for Slow Spring Afternoons

One of the reasons I started The Tea Gatherer is to share the small moments that make everyday life feel a little more special. A glass of homemade tea can turn an ordinary afternoon into something relaxing.

I usually serve this tea in a clear glass pitcher so the strawberries and mint are visible. The red and green colors make it look fresh and inviting.

You could also pair this tea with simple baked treats like banana bread or light spring desserts.

Tips for the Best Strawberry Mint Tea

Here are a few simple tips that help make this tea even better:

Use fresh strawberries
Fresh strawberries give the tea the best flavor and natural sweetness.

Lightly crush the mint leaves
This releases the oils and makes the mint flavor stronger.

Adjust the sweetness
Some people enjoy it unsweetened, but you can add honey or simple syrup if you prefer a sweeter tea.

Chill before serving
Letting the tea chill for at least an hour helps the flavors blend beautifully.

A Drink That Feels Like Spring

For me, spring is about slowing down and enjoying the little things — blooming flowers, warmer sunshine, and simple homemade drinks.

This Strawberry Mint Iced Tea is one of those small pleasures that makes the season feel special.

Whether you enjoy it while reading a book, sitting on the porch, or sharing it with family, it’s a refreshing reminder to pause and savor the moment.
